| SUMARIO 9 lideresas del Movimiento de Mujeres de Nicaragua han sido denunciadas por la Asociación Nacional pro Derechos Humanos como encubridoras del delito de violación y autoras de los delitos contra la Administración de Justicia, Asociación e Instigación para Delinquir y Apología del Delito de Aborto. Nueve feministas nicaragüenses, en su mayoría integrantes de la Red de Mujeres contra la Violencia fueron denunciadas como responsables de cometer supuestos hechos delictivos originados a partir del acompañamiento realizado a la niña "Rosita", a quien se le practicara un aborto terapéutico en dos oportunidades, a los 9 y a los 14 años, para suspender un embarazo producto de la violación cometida por su padrastro, Francisco Leonardo Fletes Reyes. Dicha denuncia fue realizada por la Asociación Nacional pro Derechos Humanos, integrada por líderes religiosos de la Conferencia Episcopal. Las compañeras denunciadas Ana María Pizarro, Juanita Jiménez Martínez, Lorna Norori Gutiérrez, Luisa Molina Arguello, Martha María Blandón Gadea, Martha Murguía Alvarado, Mayra Sirias, Yamilet Mejía Palma y Violeta Delgado Sarmiento, integrantes de distintos espacios y organismos de la sociedad civil, tienen una larga historia de lucha por los derechos de las mujeres, la libertad y la justicia, por la apertura democrática y el desarrollo social y económico en el país. Estas luchadoras sociales tuvieron en 1998 una destacada participación de apoyo en la denuncia por violación que Zoilamérica Narváez realizara contra su padrastro Daniel Ortega, actual Presidente de la República. El Movimiento de Mujeres de Nicaragua, en la voz de Juanita Jiménez, denuncia que lo que está sucediendo no es circunstancial, sino que es parte de la persecución política y deslegitimación que están sufriendo aquellos sectores de la sociedad civil opositores al actual gobierno.
